KASAM Corporation

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026 · Applies to Doclume 1.0.0 · Last updated: 2026

Summary

Doclume is an offline desktop application. It processes your documents entirely on your own computer. During normal use it does not connect to the internet, it contains no telemetry, and it never sends your documents, questions, answers or usage data to KASAM CORPORATION or to any third party.

What Doclume does with your data

Where your data is stored

All data created by Doclume is stored locally on your device, under:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\KASAM Corporation\Doclume\

You can delete individual conversations from within the application. Deleting the folder above removes all locally stored data. Uninstalling the application does not automatically delete this folder, so remove it yourself if you want the local data cleared.

Network use

Doclume makes no outbound network connections during normal use. The local language model is served by a bundled runtime that runs on the same computer and listens only on the loopback interface (127.0.0.1); it is not reachable from other machines on your network or from the internet.

The only step that uses the network is the developer build step (bootstrap.ps1), which downloads the runtime and model to the development machine. This does not run in the installed application and is not part of normal use.

No document uploads

Your documents are never uploaded anywhere. There is no cloud service, no account and no server operated by KASAM CORPORATION for this application. Importing, indexing, searching and answering all happen on your device.

No telemetry

Doclume contains no telemetry and no analytics. It does not collect usage statistics, crash reports, device identifiers or advertising identifiers, and it does not send any such information to KASAM CORPORATION or to any third party.

No cookies

Doclume and this web page use no cookies, no local storage for tracking, no analytics scripts, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. This page is a static document served without any external scripts, fonts or assets, so nothing about your visit is tracked.

Children’s privacy

Doclume is a productivity tool intended for general professional use. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this location and included with a future release of the application.
